Radiator Central Heating
This system of Hydronic heating is popular throughout Europe and the UK, and consists of a number of radiators (heat emitters) through which hot water heated by a heat source is circulated. This heat is then transferred into the room in two ways, through radiant heat, and also through convected heat. This system is more versatile than radiant underfloor heating in a number of ways:
It reacts quicker to changes in outside temperature
It can be installed in existing properties (and new properties)
It can be decorative (with the use of designer radiators)
It has the addition of a substantial convected heat output
It works well with slow combustion stoves (Dependent on size of system)
As with the Radiant underfloor system, radiator central heating systems are individually designed for each installation. A choice of panel radiators are available and also a range of towel rails, all of which can be automatically controlled by thermostatic control valves.
And don’t forget any combination of Radiant underfloor heating and Radiator Central heating is available to suit your individual requirements.
